Introduction

The photograph on this page of Sheep are not as daft as you might believe by Alan Murray-Rust as part of the Geograph project.

In this field they are certainly careful not to get their feet wet unnecessarily. Their natural paths are clearly delineated along the very tops of the ridges of the old ridge and furrow formation; the bottom of the furrows will inevitably turn soggy during wet weather.
