Wimbledon-bound tram pictured having just left Church Street, Croydon. The vantage point is the Pitlake flyover. The tower block, on the skyline, is Taberner House, the headquarters of Croydon Council; planned for demolition and replacement by a new block, on an adjacent site. Also seen on the skyline, is the bell tower of Croydon Town Hall. On the extreme right of picture is the family-run Reeves furniture business. This was destroyed by arson, during the riots of 8th August 2011.
