The branch of the London & South-Western Railway from Twickenham to Kingston, on which Teddington Station stands, was opened in 1863. Whichever platform you stand on here, you can catch a train to Waterloo, either via Richmond or via Kingston. The train here has come from Waterloo and Kingston and is bound for Richmond and Waterloo.
