Although the Imber Range is about one mile further up the hill the perimeter path starts here, the road is part of it. A sign under the 20mph limit reads "Military Vehicles Only" which may mean the speed limit only applies to military vehicles or it could mean the road is only open to military vehicles. The former meaning applied when I drove past.
