A W7 climbs the lower section of the hill past the closed off Cranmore Way. The vehicle is a Volvo B7TL with Transbus President body. Its 250hp Volvo diesel will be bellowing as the vehicle grinds its way up the hill. The bus stops on the hill have been placed on shallower sections of the climb to make pulling away after collecting passengers a bit easier. The W7 route also traverses Crouch Hill, so the buses employed on this route take a bit of a hammering. In the distance is the junction with Priory Road and Park Road.
