This tree is growing in a small area of park opposite the village hall (seen in the background). On the ground (not visible in this picture) is a small engraved plaque which bears the inscription: 'This tree is planted in memory of Jonathan Hough by his friends' There is no date on the plaque, and I have been unable to identify who Jonathan Hough may have been.
