Taken from the road bridge adjacent to the site of Scawby and Hibaldstow station. At one stage this line was close to being mothballed but now it sees increasing freight traffic avoiding the congestion at Doncaster. On Saturdays a passenger service runs with three trains in each direction. North Lincolnshire Council is pressing for a greatly expanded daily service but in the currect economic climate this is unlikely to happen.
