Or the "King Billy" to the locals and, I believe, many others. Those who knew him will recognise him from his portrait as William IV. The house may have been opened in the first half of the 19th century, or it might have been the second, anyway it was open 1881 when the landlord was Mr.H.Potter, a local butcher.
