This large corrugated iron building was emitting the most intriguing of noises, suggesting the use of some large and intricate machine inside. The building stands on the south side of the main street of this former mining village, almost opposite the small church (also, unusually, made of corrugated iron), along with a number of other small buildings of a wide variety of differing ages and constructions. All handily placed if their owners need to recycle anything.
