The view from the front showing the date of Keenley Chapel's foundation in 1750 above the porch. There is also a seat next to the porch, available to walkers on Isaac's Tea Trail. John and Charles Wesley visited nearby Hindley Hill in 1749 and the whole district played a prominent part in the early years of the Methodist movement.
