Looking east from the footbridge near Swan Drive. The river rises near Bromsgrove, passes Stoke Prior, Upton Warren, and Wychbold. It flows through Droitwich, where the Droitwich Junction Canal starts to run alongside it. After Droitwich, it flows into the River Severn at Hawford.
