Looking across this pleasant park to Jobs Close House from near Starbold Crescent. A park sign tells that the house was built in 1904 as a private residence. It was bought by Solihull Council in the 1940s and used as Cedarhurst Primary School. In 1957 it was sold to a charitable trust and is now a retirement home. The grounds of the house became a public park in 1960.
