Mass is celebrated here daily at 12.15 and attracts a multi-ethnic congregation. The name reminds us that the river (Frome) ran past the church in earlier times and sailing vessels would have been moored nearby. Indeed, the river is still there, but hidden beneath the roadway and the ornamental fountains installed at the Millennium.
