The road shown here is named Station Lane because it led to the former Greetland (or North Dean) railway station (opened 1844, closed 1962). It now leads into the North Dean business park. The main building on the site used to be Yorkshire Water sludge press house, until the sludge incinerator opened at Bradley near Huddersfield. As of 2011 the business operating from here were Silver Lining Industries, Oilswell, GW Chemicals, Renson Products, Beer Gas express, Pulsonic Technologies (apparently occupying the former water company offices) and a paintball venue.
