The B6301 leaving Tow Law soon has the nature reserve of Hedleyhope Fell on its north side; that's seen to the left side of the image and there the fence has the plantings of a new hedge beside it. Ahead, beside the road can be seen six wind turbines which were the forerunners of several tens of others in this part of north-west Durham.
