Looking from the stile out of Whitemore Wood (Image) across the fields to Higher Whitemoor Wood. Note the two different spellings of the same names, presumably over the years one spelling has been adopted over another. There are two farms and a small group of houses that use Whitemoor and the wood plus a Local Nature Reserve that use Whitemore.
