This grassy slope, once occupied by buildings, was planted with daffodils by Ripponden Junior and Infants School in October 2008. Each flower symbolises the memory of a loved one. The project was devised by Ripponden in Bloom in conjunction with the Calderdale Marie Curie cancer nurses.
