A Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen Street service departs from Grahamston station and heads west. The locomotive was at the rear of the train in those days being a push pull operation with a DBSO at the Glasgow end of the train.Due to work in the tunnel on the Falkirk high route all services were using Grahamston station at this time.
