This is one pair of 6 pairs of art deco houses in Station Road Weston-Super-Mare. All of them have had windows replaced but only this and one other have attempted to match the style of the likely original metal frame Crittall windows. What has survived on a number of the houses are the front and garage doors. See Image for a close up. Some of these houses are in a poor state and others look smart. If they all done up and the original features kept they would look very smart in gleaming white, befitting a sea side town in the thirties. Around the corner in Neva Road are another 2 pairs and a detached building in the same style, plus a further art deco detached building with a 270 degree rounded corner bay. This was being restored last time I passed by and the crude brickwork, normally hidden under the stucco, was exposed. Opposite these houses in Neva Road are 2 art deco bungalows but they have been heavily modernised and not so attractive any more.
