The former remains of the station are being preserved and unearthed. The Italianate original was bombed during WW2. The replacement was a concrete prefab. Still a nice station on the branch from Melton Constable. There was plenty of goods activity, an engine shed and water tower. Image] The recent excavations are being carried out by the friends of Norwich City station.
