This used to be the A130 dual carriageway through Rettendon until the new A130 was built parallel to it and about 400 metres away to the west. Essex County Council have now degraded the road back to a single carriageway, with the former southbound carriageway converted for use by pedestrians, cyclists, and, ahem, horses... Angela's Rettendon Bell Public House Image is just beyond the bushes to the right.
