The Midland Hotel, Manchester

The Midland is a large (312 bedroom) hotel situated on Peter Street, Windmill Street and Lower Mosley Street in Manchester city centre. Opened in September 1903, it was built by Charles Trubshaw for the Midland Railway Company to serve the adjacent Manchester Central railway station which is now the Manchester Central (formerly the G-Mex) Exhibition Centre (Image]). The building is Grade II* listed (Historic England List Entry Number: 1271166 https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1271166 ).
