These Norfolk Horn sheep (a rare breed) are grazing a pasture beside the driveway > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2213346 to Broome Lodge. Despite a recent rise in temperatures the small pond in their pasture is still frozen over. Norfolk's own breed of sheep, the Norfolk Horn, became almost extinct a few decades ago but their numbers are now once again rising. It was this breed's wool which formed the basis of Norfolk’s medieval wealth.
