This is 'Otterburn near Morebattle', not to be confused with the Otterburn Ranges 15 km to the SSE. This house looks modern, but is in fact quite old with a barrel-vaulted cellar. The upper storey, however, is much more recent. I am indebted to the present occupier of the house for this information which corrects my original description.
