The road to Nutcombe crosses the new line of the A3 here, as it heads away from the new Hindhead tunnel. Work has stopped for the Christmas period, and perhaps also the snow. Trees have already been planted on the embankment; I hope they survive the winter. Traffic is queueing up the slip road to take the existing route through Hindhead. The bottleneck here will be gone in Summer 2011 when traffic will be using the new road. I wonder what drivers will then start complaining about?
