Looking south from the road. The house is hard to spot from the lane, being in the trees on the left. The sign reads "Visitors by appointment only", but it can be hired for corporate events, weddings, etc. http://www.hoptoncourt.co.uk/index.html. The house dates from 1776 and is attributed to John Nash. Humphry Repton was responsible for laying out the grounds and 1,800 acres of parkland, including the still-standing Grade II Listed conservatory.
