The Valiant Soldier is a former pub, a time capsule from the point the landlady gave up her license in 1965. Unfortunately it hasn't served beer since then, the bar prices would be heaven..... It is now run by Teignbridge District Council in conjunction with the local community. The Information Centre is based there, and there are plans for an improved Museum area and for a local Archive area. This room is the lounge, in the upstairs private living quarters.
