This was the park Lodge long ago but is now two dwellings. A resident told me she had lived there for forty-two years. The hall and grounds were purchased by Northampton Borough Council in 1937 for a public park now called 'Thornton Park' or 'Kingsthorpe Park' http://www.northampton.gov.uk/site/scripts/documents_info.php?documentID=310 .
