View westward, towards Sheffield, also Mansfield; ex-Great Central Sheffield - Retford - Lincoln etc. main line, junction of ex-Midland line from Nottingham via Mansfield (now the Robin Hood Line). The train is the 11.46 local from Nottingham, headed by LMS Stanier 3P 2-6-2T No. 40079.
