Watery Lane in the snow. Few made it through, but the postman always succeeds. Bags are left outside the properties just in case the refuse and recycling vans get through. The title is from the United States Postal Service creed: "Neither snow nor rain nor gloom of night shall stay these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds"
