This is a wide track that runs straight up the hillside from Wakefield Road, only to stop dead in a field. It was first shown on the OS map of 1894, which does not show any mine or other purpose for the track. There are some manhole covers, but it is not usual to provide a walled easement for a sewer. The track is now a public footpath.
