Village sign, Wisborough Green

The sign shows the village Church of St Peter ad Vincula, the trees surrounding the village and the Sussex martlet. The Sussex martlet, is a mythical bird on the county’s coat of arms, it has no legs, and symbolises the constant quest for knowledge.
