Remains of Fairford Railway Station

Situated on the A417 London Road, this former railway station was the terminus of the branch line that went via Witney to Oxford. It closed to passengers in June, 1962 with the track being lifted in early 1965. The former signal box and engine shed can be seen in the background. An industrial estate now occupies the site and its postcode is GL7 4DS.
