The road descends from Buteland Fell into Redesmouth which lies just behind the first belt of trees. The woodland is mostly Garret Hott and Countesspark Wood, but the extensive plantations on the right towards Bellingham are not currently marked on the map. This is pretty much the reverse of this view: Image]
