The housing in this "Royal" estate was built in two eras, the late 1940s/early 1950s (as here) and the mid 1930s. The short Balmoral Road links Buckingham Road with the crescent of Sandringham Road. About 12-15 cm of level snow had fallen overnight and was still falling lightly as this image was taken, timed at just after 15:00 GMT.
