I was walking our beloved English Setter at dusk on the heath at Barrow Hill around Xmas 2009 when we came upon a beautifully decorated fir tree, pretty much in the middle of nowhere. It was hung with expensive looking golden glass baubles. It was a surreal and beautiful experience. I've no idea who decorated the tree. or why. A few days later when I walked the same path again, the decorations had vanished without a trace. To whoever decorated that tree, thank you so much.
