The building behind the bridge is Pont Hafren, a drop-in centre. Next to that the Crescent church http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1141519. The white building was once the Bridgend pub but now appears to be part of the adjacent God The Holy Ghost RC Church. The large eucalyptus tree, right of centre did not survive this prolonged cold snap and now looks very dead - see http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1973816.
