Plaistow station is to the right. The area to the left and straight ahead, beyond the railway, was where the first Plaistow depot of the London, Tilbury and Southend Railway was, before it was moved to just the other side of the Northern Outfall Sewer, and the other side of the railway. The top of the sewer is the viewpoint.
