A steam excursion arrives at Haywards Heath en route to the Bluebell Railway. The train reversed here and took the line towards East Grinstead, to join the Bluebell at Horsted Keynes Image Most of the track to Horsted Keynes has since been dismantled. The leading locomotive is Caledonian Railway single (4-2-2) 123, built in 1886, and now (2019) preserved at the Glasgow Riverside Museum. See Image for details of the second locomotive. Note the spectators by the lineside.
