The morning Cleethorpes to Kings Cross service runs past Hornsey Station on the way to Kings Cross. Powered by a Brush type 2 these locomotive struggled to keep time on the East Coast Main line. Normally this service would have a type 4 locomotive in charge but on this occasion the underpowered Brush 2 was used. Out of view on the right is Hornsey depot where the Great Northern Electric fleet was maintained.
