Hurlestone Tower near Newtown

Built in 2000 by the owners of Lilburn Tower in the tradition of the country house folly. Since it is functional - it was built as a conference venue - it is not actually a folly. It's named after the nearby Hurl Stone, an early medieval carved stone cross.
