This photograph is of farmland at Westfield Lodge Farm. The farm sits of the top of one of the tabular hills in this area of the North Yorkshire Moors. The woodland to the right of the photograph is on the western edge of the hilltop and drops steeply to the valley (Douthwaite Dale) below.
