This municipal cemetery is operated by the London Borough of Hillingdon, and is on Shepiston Lane, not Cherry Lane. Cherry Lane itself still exists, but now terminates to the west at the A408 roundabout. Presumably before the current roads were built, Cherry Lane extended further eastwards. The notice boards outside call the cemetery Cherry Lane Burial Ground. It is less than 3 kilometres away from the Heathrow Airport Terminals 1, 2, & 3 complex.
