These rocky outcrops are the remnants of the former Andrews quarry. The site was gifted for use of the people of Sheffield, as a recreational area. I went to Western Road School and we used a part of the Bolehills to play football and cricket. The field had changing rooms. There were also tennis courts and a couple of bowling greens and a children's playground. The houses front Loxley View Road and Netherfield Road.
