This plaque, disappearing into the ivy, is located on the left wall of the stile below Yealand Manor. It says "Yealand Conyers Parish Council The twelve trees nearby commemorate Britain's entry to Europe 1993" As we entered in 1973 it must be a 20-year celebration.
