This view shows the row of shops opposite the old pilchard works. The pilchard works is now closed and has been converted into residential accommodation. The row nof shops contains a very special local and distinctly Cornish service .... a Cornish pasty shop called "Aunty May's Pasty Shop". It is seen here as the second shop in from the corner, it sells home-made quality pasties, arguably the best in the Westcountry.Image
