This is one of those rare pub signs where the two sides are different. On this side the portrait of Queen Victoria shows her late in her reign as an old woman, looking a bit plump and grumpy. On the reverse, she is shown as a young woman, as she was earlier in her long reign, from 1837 to 1901. Image
