Netto is a Danish owned deep discounting supermarket. Its owners have agreed to sell the UK stores to Asda, and it now seem the Office of Fair Trading will allow this deal to go through. Asda will take over 194 Netto stores and rebrand them. The remaining 47 it will be obliged to sell. Whether this one becomes an Asda, presumably depends on how near it is to an existing Asda store. On the opposite side of the road is a Lidl supermarket.
