A memorial erected eighteen months ago, commemorating all who served at RAF Ibsley from its opening on February 1946 until it ceased operations in 1946. The base occupied an area to the immediate southwest of this crossroads. The memorial includes an excellent map of the RAF base along with various bits of information including the names of those who served.
