Harpsden Village Hall

On the north side of the road. It was built in 1924 from the trust of John Hodges, who was the last owner of the Harpsden Court estate. The plaque above the door gives his initials JH, and the dates 1849 and 1924. Perhaps this new one, which could date from 1924, was built 75 years after and original one or perhaps that is the birth and death dates of John Hodges.
